Update on No Label at the Table

When something’s working, it is running. A refrigerator runs. A car runs. No Label at the Table has been RUNNING. Not only have been my guys been working hard producing yummy treats, we’ve been running around like mad to get our shop open. There’s a group of people we must thank the Carmel City Center Community Development Corporation helped gets us an ideal location, Trace Construction and the Giving Hope Foundation helped with the build out, Jordan Nowaskie helped with Woo Commerce, and Jay Patel at Signarama Carmel took whatever I had budgeted to make our signs. We also need to thank the Farmers Market and Chef Joe at 5280 Pantry Project in Fishers who took a chance on J’s mum last spring.

We need to thank you all who follow us and share our story. I don’t think there’s a way to acknowledge what your support means to my guys. I hope you all have learned and grown with my guys. I hope we all have greater awareness and acceptance. I hope we all know and understand that everyone is capable and valuable.

Here’s a quick update on what has been happening.

At the shop drywall and electrical has started. Ovens, refrigerators, freezers and other kitchen accompaniments are going to be ordered later tonight. (I may need to a sedative to sleep after I make the last click.) We’ve been in Woman’s Day Magazine (February Issue, pg 72)   We have added a new way to get our products on the website. We can ship products to you! Just click the order Online tab in the left corner of our website. Most important, we are much closer to having an opening date! We hope first week of February! Equipment needs to get in and we have another round of inspections and permits. I’ll try to keep you all in the loop by posting blogs more often on our progress.

I am continually humbled by the support of the community. You show up at the markets. You buy my guys products. You listen to me brag and tell of our experiments. I can not wait until you all can come in and be apart of my guys running their business. Don’t try and hold us back, because my guys will run you over.
